As a part of our South East Asia trip in the summer of 2006, we went to Laos, a remote country where time seems to have stand still. In Luang Prabang, the temples and pagodas are astonishing and in the capital of Vientiane, you encounter a mix of French colonial style, Communist brutal architecture and South East Asian charm.
